Color Me Scrappy

I am once again linking up with the super fun blog, Color Me Scrappy. This time around, we are using this beautiful color palette:


I love the "tone on tone" look that has been going around a bit, so I thought this may be a fun time to try it out. 


I don't think I have it just yet, but it was only my first time!! Don't judge me! LOL  


I popped up a few of the stars that I cut out of the same sheet of cardstock used for the background and lightly misted with Mr. Huey, "barnwood". I cut out my title with my trusty, OLD Cricut. (Calligraphy cartridge)


I am starting to become slighty obsessed with Challenge blogs lately. They are such a fun way to help break me out of my ruts and to use up my stash.

    Thank you for playing along with us at Color Me Scrappy. I love the 3D stars. They look fabulous! I have one of those OLD cricut machines too... sometimes, they come in handy!

    this is very cool...the stars definitely pop off the layout. your son throwing the peace sign totally makes me smile. my daughter is forever doing that.

    I totally know what you mean about being obsessed w/ challenge blogs ... That's JUST how Color Me Scrappy got it's start ... I really love the tone-on-tone look too ... and haven't done much about trying it ... I really love how the stars pop off the page and you've done an awesome job w/ your layering ... thanks for playing with us over at Color Me Scrappy!
